Projects > Squam Lakes Conservation Society

Just northwest of Lake Winnipesaukee in the "lakes region" of central New Hampshire sits incredible and timeless Big Squam and Little Squam. These connected natural lakes cover over 7000 acres combined with 64 miles of shoreline and 30 islands.
Identifying with the Squam Lakes Conservation Society (SLCS) mission, goals, and having lifelong ties to the lake and surrounding areas, the images presented here are part of a contribution project completed for the SLCS illustrating a portion of the landholdings, or views from the landholdings, for which the SLCS has responsibility.
The images for this project were originally photographed using a Fujica Professional GSW690 camera with a fixed EBC Fujinon SW 65mm/5.6 lens and 120 color-negative film. The selected negatives were scanned and digitally reproduced to match the original prints as close as possible.
