Currently based in the metropolitan area of northern New Jersey, Anderson English specializes in promotional portraits and projects, on-location editorial portraits and stories, product, and concept photography. His expertise extends to collaborative and self-driven topics, catering to a diverse clientele of small businesses, organizations, and publications with specific or general interests.

Anderson brings a unique blend of artistic vision, instructional expertise, and collaborative partnership to each project, ensuring a seamless fusion of creativity, technical proficiency, and professionalism in every endeavor.

In addition to his accomplished career as a photographer, Anderson held the positions of Photography Instructor and Chair of the School of Media at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh - a commitment and dedication to the art and education of photography.

Beyond his commercial ventures, Anderson's portfolio showcases self-generated projects and images presented in solo and group exhibitions. Images have found homes in private collections and have served as visual points for topic-specific presentations.

Awards include The Greater Pittsburgh Artist Opportunity Grant from ProArts - now the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council - and the Leon Arkus Jump-Start Award from the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh 89th Annual Juried Exhibition at The Carnegie Museum of Art, Pennsylvania.

With much gratitude to his family and his high school teacher, where it all began, Anderson received his BFA in Photography from Ohio University and his MFA in Photography from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
